Adaptavate at ecoBuild 2016

Next week, 8-10th March the ecoBuild exhibition is taking place at the Excel London. It is a really great event showcasing products and innovations from over 800 companies operating in a wide variety of sectors within the construction industry. For the past 11 years ecoBuild has been on the forefront of sustainability in the construction industry hosting seminars, interactive events, special guests and private companies. Last year it attracted over 40,000 guests and this year is set to be even bigger.

This year’s seminars and conferences see a focus on; homes, architecture and next generation products and practices. With Adaptavate’s very own Tom Robinson on the discussion panel for a seminar on the use of products and materials for optimal resource efficiency, it is set to be the best year yet!

This is a great opportunity for Adaptavate to share and discuss our founding principles of how the materials we use can influence resource security and to offer some of our knowledge in this area. Tom will be discussing with three other industry experts the rethinking of material flows in the built environment and what role building products play in that. Our entire business model revolves around disrupting and rethinking how materials are produced and used, allowing us to provide high performing building products whilst ensuring the future resources of the planet.

It is a great platform to spread awareness of circular business models and methods of production and we are keen to share our learnings of how we have combined biobased materials with a scientific approach to create cutting edge products and to inform people that high performance products need not cost the earth.

You can find Tom discussing these ideas and sharing our experiences at Adaptavate on Wednesday 9th March at 17:00 – 18:00.

The best thing about it is that it’s a completely free event and anyone can register here.
